The journey to creating Florida Caviar began in college, where Christian initially struggled with finding his passion.

After switching his major to Agricultural Operations Management, he had a renewed focus, achieved a 4.0 GPA, and discovered his true calling: fish farming.

Intrigued by his professor, Dr. Chapman, he visited his lab, where he was introduced to the world of sturgeon—a moment that sparked deep interest in this remarkable species. This passion led Christian to pursue a master's degree in Interdisciplinary Ecology at the University of Florida, under Dr. Chapman's guidance. Christian wrote his thesis, a foundation for future endeavors.
